SP Srinivasan – Promoter & Director
S.P. Srinivasan has over 38 years of experience in design, operations, customer support and project management for a diverse range of products including renewable energy systems, data networking, telecom switching, high-resolution display and optical sensing devices. Srinivasan is a founding member of SunTechnics Energy Systems Pvt.Ltd in India, the Indian office of Germany’s Conergy Group, a global leader in Solar PV Systems.
He started his career with Digital Equipment Corporation as an Installation & Commissioning Engineer and followed with positions at Visesh Technologies India as a hardware & software Development Engineer, then joined TATABP Solar, a joint venture between BP Solar & the TATA Power Company as Production Engineer for PV panels where he was involved in setting up their 50 MW PV production facility, designing and installing both grid-connect and off-grid systems which covered power systems for more than 100 offshore platforms, Railway Signalling, Microwave repeater/Telecoms, cathodic protection systems for oil pipelines and village electrification projects. In 2001, then led the Design & Engineering team tasked to support the Pre & Post Sales activities for BP Solar globally. He held this position for more than 4 years, working on large scale grid-connect projects across Europe and Australia.
Srinivasan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Mysore University.
Prakash Shetty – Promoter & Director
Prakash Shetty has over 39 years of Industrial experience in various levels of management. He is a founding member of SunTechnics India, the Indian subsidiary of the Conergy Group, a German multinational company listed on the Hamburg stock exchange. Since taking on the leadership role and as a member of the Board at SunTechnics India in 2010, the SunTechnics Indian team has secured noteworthy projects in India for both on-grid and off-grid PV systems. He is a management expert having worked in various industries from Solar Photovoltaic to the diversified Technology and Engineering sectors.
Prior to joining Conergy, he was the General Manager – Of finance for EFD Induction Ltd, a German multinational company in India and also served as a Board Member. He was a key member of Tata BP Solar (now called Tata Power Solar Ltd) finance team, joined Tata Power Solar during its initial days (1991) and was one of the key members to establish various processes and implement TATA policies and procedures. He is credited with successfully implementing business process improvements and driving business success in his past assignments. Shetty holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Law and a master’s degree in Finance (MBA). He has completed the first part of the Institute of Company Secretaries (ACS) Program and also earned a Post Graduate Diploma in PM& IR
Jagadish Chandra Shetty – Promoter & Director
Jagadish Chandra Shetty has over 26 years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain and Manufacturing in Engineering, consumer durables, and Renewable Energy.
Started career with Chowgule Engineers and Machines Ltd as QA Engineer, Joined Videocon group for 11 years in Sourcing, Material Management and worked for 2 years as Head of Materials their Italian subsidiary. He also worked in Sartorius India Ltd as Head of SCM and HHV Solar as a General Manager –Operation. He joined SunTechnics India, a group company of Conergy AG and worked under various senior levels and was heading Operations and Deliverables.
Jagadish Chandra Shetty holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical.
Ramalingam – Promoter & Director
Ramalingam has over 20 years of experience in the solar industry. He started his career with TATABP solar, a joint venture between BP Solar & the TATA Power Company in the engineering and product development team where he was involved in developing various products for off-grid markets and involved in developing systems for Telecoms, SPV Cathodic protection systems for oil pipelines, village electrification power plants, offshore rig projects, also worked in Quality & Reliability team where he worked in testing and developing components for projects and qualifying the systems. Ramalingam then joined the Indian office of Germany’s Conergy Group, a global leader in Solar Systems in the Product Development team and developed various projects and products for domestic and international markets then he moved to the on-grid engineering team where he was involved in the design and execution of 15MW power plant and worked various on large scale projects, with installation base at Dubai 130kWp and various small projects for villas and warehouses.
